On September 29, 2006, NewsNext organized a conference at the Palais du Luxembourg in Paris to address developments in the news process in general, and at news networks in particular:

The objective of this one-day conference was to focus on the changes facing all-news networks, and cast an international and operational light on the future prospects and opportunities posed by this "great shake-up", by inviting high-level representatives of the industry to debate and exchange.
A new conference will soon be proposed.
