The study "The News and Its Audiences 2008 - International Overview" produced in partnership with Eurodata TV Worldwide, is designed to evaluate the efficiency of editorial and programming strategies of key audiovisual players in the field of information, in the light of the audience ratings of flagship or innovative news programs (newscast, factual magazines, debates, talk shows, etc.).
Building on the findings of the study "The News in All Its Formats 2008 - International Overview" published by NewsNext in June 2008, this new study will analyze the main evolutions in the supply and demand of information on TV, review the audience ratings of more than 300 programs by key demographics, and evaluate the successes or the failures of the channels’ programming strategies on about fifteen markets since 2005.
This study is offered as a shared subscription and will be initiated starting eight subscribers. It is planned to be published in February 2009.
